Alumasc Group PLC30 May 2007 Wednesday 30 May 2007 For immediate release THE ALUMASC GROUP PLC Shareholders pass EGM resolution Further to the announcement of 4 May 2007, The Alumasc Group plc, the premiumbuilding and engineering products group, ("the Company") today announces thatthe special resolution proposed to shareholders at today's extraordinary generalmeeting, as set out in the notice of extraordinary general meeting containedwithin the circular sent to shareholders on 4 May 2007, was duly passed. This resolution was to approve the cancellation of the Company's share premiumaccount and the cancellation of the Company's capital redemption reserve.
