RESULT OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
SHAREHOLDERS APPROVE NEW JOINT OWNERSHIP SHARE PLAN
C&C Group plc announces that all resolutions proposed at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the company held on Thursday 18th December 2008 were passed. The full text of each resolution was included in the notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting of C&C Group plc circulated to shareholders on 28th November 2008. The resolutions were to approve a new joint share ownership plan and modifications to existing share plans to enable their continued operation. All resolutions were passed by a show of hands. Proxies received were as follows.
