JJB Sports plcResults of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") and Reappointment of Robert J. Corliss

The Board of JJB Sports plc ("JJB" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the shareholders of the Company today approved all resolutions put to the AGM at Martland Park, Challenge Way, Wigan WN5 OLD. Voting was by poll on each of the twelve resolutions set out in the Notice of AGM dated 20 June 2012.

In accordance with Article 85 of the Company's Articles of Association, Bob Corliss retired at today's AGM as a director appointed since the Company's 2011 AGM. As the Notice of AGM had already been published by the Company at the time of Bob's appointment to the Board on 9 July 2012, it was not possible to include a resolution in the Notice of AGM seeking Bob's election and reappointment to the Board by the Company's shareholders. However, following Bob's retirement at today's AGM, the Company confirms that the Board reappointed Bob Corliss as a Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chairman of the Company immediately following today's AGM. It is intended that Bob will offer himself for reappointment by shareholders at the Company's 2013 AGM.
