Mwana Africa PLC31 July 2007 Mwana Africa plc RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING London, 31st July 2007 - Mwana Africa plc ("Mwana" or the "Company") today announces that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held at 11:00 a.m. today, all the resolutions proposed, as set out in the notice of the meeting to shareholders dated 5th of July 2007, were duly passed. Oliver Baring, Executive Chairman of Mwana, also updated shareholders on the two recent developments with the Company: • Mwana has completed its offer document in connection with its intended Offer for SouthernEra Diamonds Inc. ("SouthernEra"). The Offer Circular and related materials were filed on SEDAR and mailed to SouthernEra shareholders today. • The Fifth and final dividend for the financial year ended 31st March 2007 of US$6.3 million, declared by Bindura Nickel Corporation on 15th of June, was received by Mwana last week.
