Result of AGM
GTE announces that at the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 10 June 2008, all the resolutions were duly passed.
On the 29 May 2008, the Company announced a fundraising comprising the placing of 8,989,000 ordinary shares ('Placing') and an additional commitment in respect of £1.5 million subject to the appropriate resolutions being passed at the AGM ('Additional Placing'). At the AGM of the Company held earlier today, all resolutions relevant to the Additional Placing were duly passed.
The Additional Placing of 4,000,000 new ordinary shares to Oceanic Small Cap Fund represents approximately 5.6 per cent. of the Company’s total enlarged voting rights. Application has been made for the Additional Placing shares to be admitted to trading on the AIM market of London Stock Exchange plc and it is expected that trading in the Additional Placing shares will commence on or around 16 June 2008. The 8,989,000 shares comprising the Placing were admitted to trading on 4 June 2008.
Following the Additional Placing, the Company's total issued share capital will consist of 71,921,594 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 0.2 pence each, with voting rights.
