11 February, 2009 Daily Mail and General Trust plc (`DMGT') Result of AGM
At DMGT's Annual General Meeting held this morning, all the resolutions set out in the Notice of Meeting, included in the Circular to shareholders dated 18 December, 2008, were duly approved.
In accordance with paragraph 9.6.2 of the Listing Rules, two copies of the resolutions passed by Ordinary shareholders, other than resolutions concerning ordinary business, have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority. They will shortly be available for inspection at its Document Viewing Facility which is situated at:

As announced on 20 November, 2008, Mr Ian Park, a non-executive director of the Company, stood down as a director of the Company at the end of the Annual General Meeting.
