Genus plc ("Genus") is pleased to announce that at its Annual General Meeting held at 2.30pm today, all resolutions put to the meeting were duly passed. Details of proxy votes lodged in respect of the resolutions can be found on the 'Investors' section of Genus' website at www.genusplc.com.

As previously announced, Bob Lawson, currently Chairman of Barratt Developments plc, has now become non-executive Chairman of Genus following the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting and John Hawkins, the previous Chairman, has now retired from the Board having served ten years as a non-executive director of the Company and six years as Chairman.
