Moscow, June 29, 2007 OJSC Polyus Gold held its Annual General Shareholders' Meeting OJSC Polyus Gold (RTS, MICEX and LSE - PLZL), Russia's leading gold producer,today on June 29, 2007 held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shareholders.The AGM took place in Moscow. The AGM approved the 2006 Annual report of OJSC Polyus Gold, financialstatements of OJSC Polyus Gold for 2006, including Profit and Loss statement,prepared in accordance with the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS). The AGM decided to pay dividends upon the 2006 financial results of OJSC PolyusGold in the amount of 615,727,622 RUR and declared dividends per ordinary sharein the amount of RUR 3.23 to be paid before August 28, 2007. The AGM also approved the amendments to the Charter of OJSC Polyus Gold as wellas in the Regulations on General Shareholders' Meeting of OJSC Polyus Gold,elected the Audit Commission of OJSC Polyus Gold and approved Rosexpertiza LLCas the auditor of OJSC Polyus Gold for 2007.
