AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting of OpSec Security Group plc, held today, David Mahony, Chairman, made the following announcement:

"Overall, trading through the first quarter of the current financial year has been in line with expectations. The Transaction Card business has continued to perform strongly and this has helped offset lower order levels in our Brand Protection and Government Protection markets.

I am now 70 and will not be seeking re-election at next year's Annual General Meeting. Prior to this, I will work with the Company to find a replacement as Chairman and a further announcement will be made in due course."
