Result of Annual General Meeting

North River Resources plc, the AIM listed resource company focussed on Namibia, is pleased to announce that, at the Company's AGM, held earlier today, all resolutions put to shareholders were duly passed.

Accordingly, Mr Zhiping Yu, one of the three Taurus Mineral Limited ("Taurus Mineral") representatives on the North River Board of Directors (the "Board"), has resigned with immediate effect.

The Board now consists of the following:

Mr Zuyuan He, Non-Executive Chairman*

Mr Martin French, Managing Director

Mr Brett Richards, Non-Executive Director

Mr Mark Thompson, Non-Executive Director

Ms Qi Yu, Non-Executive Director*
