BioEnergy Africa Limited ('BioEnergy Africa' or 'the Company')
Result of AGM & EGM
BioEnergy Africa Ltd announces that it held its Annual General Meeting today and all resolutions were duly passed. The Company also held an Extraordinary General Meeting ('EGM') today and all resolutions, including the Company's change of name and shift in strategic direction, were also passed.
Following the shareholder approval received today at the EGM, the Company has adopted an investing strategy to invest in early stage exploration and development projects focussing on mining assets in sub-Saharan Africa and its name will be formally changed to Sable Mining Africa Limited.
It is anticipated that the Company's name change will take effect on 9 November 2009, at which point the Company's ticker will change to SBLM. The Company's new website has been launched and can be found at: www.sableminingafrica.com.
