RESULTS OF AGM

Maple Energy plc (AIM: MPLE; LIMA: MPLE), an integrated energy company with assets in Peru, is pleased to report the results of its previously announced Annual General Meeting (the "AGM") held yesterday at its registered office in Dublin, Ireland.

At the AGM, the shareholders approved all of the proposed resolutions, except for resolution 12, as set out in the notice of the meeting to shareholders dated 11 August 2010.
