STILO INTERNATIONAL PLC ('Stilo' or the 'Company')
AGM Statement
At today's annual general meeting, Barry Welck, Chairman, stated:
"Trading results for the four months up to the end of April 2008 are in line with expectations. The Company is making steady progress overall whilst continuing to invest in the development and marketing of new products, services and solutions.
We are pleased to announce that we have been working with leading aircraft operator ABX Air, Inc., to develop a high performance, digital publishing solution for aircraft fleet maintenance technicians, known as JETView. In light of the benefits that ABX Air has experienced with JETView, ABX Air and Stilo have entered into an agreement to market the solution to other airlines. Under the terms of the joint venture, ABX Air will take primary responsibility for marketing and selling the solution. Stilo will earn revenues from each new sale and will offer a range of complementary technical support services.
In addition, the development of Stilo Migrate, the world's first on-demand content conversion service, is nearing completion, and is expected to be available for general release later in 2008. Initial feedback from prospective customers has been very encouraging, with a first order having already been received from a leading international manufacturer of semiconductors.
In 2008 customers for OmniMark software include European Parliament, Vodafone, Wolters Kluwer, IBM, Caterpillar and Thomson, and professional services engagements have been undertaken with long-standing customers including Boeing, Canadian Competition Bureau, BAe and Agusta Westland."
All resolutions put to the meeting were duly passed.
