Result of AGM and nuclear update

Hayward Tyler Group plc (AIM: HAYT.L), the specialist engineering group, is pleased to announce that at its annual general meeting ("AGM") held earlier today all resolutions were duly passed.

At the meeting Ewan Lloyd-Baker, Group CEO, commented:

"Hayward Tyler continues to make excellent progress - particularly in our nuclear related activity where, further to the announcement of 31 March, I am pleased to report we have now received formal confirmation of our grant funding of up to £1million on the Civil Nuclear Sharing in Growth programme with the Nuclear AMRC. The funding will be used for ongoing shop-floor improvements, training and business development activity over a three-year period.

"I am also pleased to report that the Group has won an order to provide four reactor cooling freshwater units for the Royal Navy's sixth and seventh Astute class submarines. Valued at over £850,000, the order is due for shipment this financial year."
