Result of Annual General Meeting
Gulfsands Petroleum plc ("Gulfsands", the "Group" or the "Company" - AIM: GPX), the oil and gas production, exploration and development company with activities in Syria, Iraq, Tunisia, Italy and the U.S.A., is pleased to report that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held today at 11:00 a.m. all the resolutions outlined in the notice of the meeting dated 27 April 2011 were duly passed.
At the meeting Andrew West, Chairman of Gulfsands, gave a brief summary update of the Company's exploration and production activities in Syria Block 26 in which he confirmed that all activities are continuing as planned and have continued without interruption during recent months.
