Result of Annual General Meeting

Rurelec, the AIM quoted independent power plant developer with operations in South America, is pleased to announce that at the Company's Annual General Meeting, held earlier today, all resolutions were duly passed.

Voting on each Resolution was as follows:

Resolution 1: 99.98 per cent in favour out of the votes cast being 343,975,122 shares voted in favour out of a possible total of 561,378,586 shares eligible to vote on this motion.

Resolution 2: 98.98 per cent in favour out of the votes cast being 343,936,162 shares voted in favour out of a possible total of 561,378,586 shares eligible to vote on this motion.

Resolution 3: 98.98 per cent in favour out of the votes cast being 343,946,162 shares voted in favour out of a possible total of 561,378,586 shares eligible to vote on this motion.

Resolution 4: 98.98 per cent in favour out of the votes cast being 343,941,162 shares voted in favour out of a possible total of 561,378,586 shares eligible to vote on this motion

Resolution 5: 99.99 per cent in favour out of the votes cast being 343,990,122 shares voted in favour out of a possible total of 561,378,586 shares eligible to vote on this motion.

Resolution 6: 99.98 per cent in favour out of the votes cast being 343,963,662 shares voted in favour out of a possible total of 561,378,586 shares eligible to vote on this motion.

Resolution 7: 99.97 per cent in favour out of the votes cast being 343,927,634 shares voted in favour out of a possible total of 561,378,586 shares eligible to vote on this motion.

Commenting on the results of the Annual General Meeting, Peter Earl, CEO of Rurelec said:
