Result of AGM
The Company is pleased to announce that the resolutions numbered 1 to 9 as set out in the notice convening today's annual general meeting (the "Notice") were put to shareholders and have been duly approved. The resolution numbered 10 in the Notice which related to the disapplication of pre-emption rights was withdrawn due to there being an inconsistency between the explanatory wording and the resolution itself, which the board felt may have caused confusion. Should the board consider it necessary in the future, a further similar resolution may be proposed to shareholders of the Company in due course.
Following the approval of the final dividend, the Company is happy to report that the dividend will be paid on 6 August 2010.
