Result of AGM and AGM Statement

Arena Events Group plc (AIM: ARE, 'Arena' or 'the Group'),  is pleased to announce that at its Annual General Meeting held yesterday all resolutions were duly passed.

At the AGM, the Chairman, Ken Hanna, gave the following update:

"We are pleased to report that trading in the first four months of this year has been in line with management's expectations and we have won a number of new contracts for events which will be delivered later this year or early next year.

We completed the acquisition of Ice House Rentals Ltd in the UK last week and are progressing a number of potential acquisitions in other regions.

Operationally each of our three divisions continues to trade well and we remain confident of the outlook for the Group."
