RESULT OF AGM

Dublin / London, 9 February 2010: At the Annual General Meeting of United Drug plc ('United Drug' or the 'Company') held today in the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin 2, all of the resolutions considered and voted upon by the shareholders were approved. The full text of each resolution was included in the notice of the meeting circulated to shareholders on 8 January 2010 and made available on the Company's website, www.united-drug.ie

Two copies of the resolutions passed at the Annual General Meeting have been forwarded to the Irish Stock Exchange and the UK Listing Authority.
