4 May, 2006 Daily Mail and General Trust plc (`DMGT') Ofcom determination of financial terms for Teletext Licence Teletext Limited welcomes the publication today of the financial terms to applyto its teletext licence.Under the new terms, Teletext's fixed fee will fall from ‚£1.8 million p.a. to ‚£25,000 p.a. with effect from 1 January 2006. The percentage of qualifyingrevenue (i.e. that attributable to its analogue services) to be paid over willfall from 18% to 5% with effect from 1 October 2005.Teletext estimates that its payment under the new terms for its financial yearto 30 September 2006 will be around ‚£3.5 million lower than it would have beenunder the previous terms.
