30 June 2011Response to Culture Secretary's statementBSkyB notes today's statement by the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, regarding News Corporation's proposal to acquire the shares in BSkyB that it does not already own.The Secretary of State has begun a consultation on proposed modifications to undertakings offered by News Corporation to address the concerns raised by Ofcom's report on public interest considerations in respect of media plurality.
