In view of this, Argos has today sought leave to appealto the House of Lords. The toy market in the UK is very price competitive and Argos, as the number oneplayer, prides itself on the great value of its toy offer. Argos is committed toproviding choice, value and convenience across all its ranges and for allcustomers. A provision of £16m in relation to the fine was taken in the year to31 March 2005.
