Response to Announcement by Mr John Robinson

Omega Insurance Holdings Limited ("Omega" or the "Company") notes yesterday's announcement by Mr John Robinson.

Mr Robinson is the sole claimant in the action to which he refers (the "Proceedings"). The Proceedings relate only to the value of Mr Robinson's own shares and will not affect the timetable for completion of the acquisition of Omega by Canopius Group Limited (the "Acquisition"), which was approved by holders of 90.3% of Omega's common shares voted at the special general meeting.

The Company will defend the Proceedings vigorously. The Board stands by all of its previous statements in support of the Acquisition and looks forward to its completion once the remaining regulatory conditions have been satisfied.

The Board does not consider it appropriate to comment further on the Proceedings pending the Court's decision.
