Resignation of the Chairman of the SB of the Bank

15.04.2020 - 16/2020: Resignation of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Bank Pekao S.A.

Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna (the "Bank") hereby informs that on 15 April 2020 Mr. Paweł Surówka resigned from the position of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Bank and from the composition of the Supervisory Board of the Bank, with the effect from 20 April 2020. As the reason for the resignation, Mr. Paweł Surówka indicated his earlier resignation from the position of the President of the Management Board of Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń S.A., the strategic shareholder of the Bank.

The Management Board of the Bank expressed thanks to Mr. Paweł Surówka for his work for the Bank and for his contribution to the development of the Bank.

Legal basis: § 5 points 4 of the Finance Minister's Ordinance of 29 March 2018 re. current and periodic reports published by the issuers of securities and the rules under which the information required by the laws of non-member states shall be deemed equivalent
