Resignation of the Chair of the Board of Directors

Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A hereby informs that on 15 November 2018 Ms. Elena Doina Dascalu, the chair of the Board of Directors of the company, has resigned from this position following the Romanian Parliament's nomination as First Vice President of the Financial Supervisory Authority (in Romanian Autoritatea de Supraveghere Financiara) starting with 14 November 2018. According to the provisions of art. 12 par. 4 from the Emergency Ordinance no. 93/2012 regarding the establishment, organization and functioning of the Financial Supervisory Authority, in 30 days from the nomination, one must proceed to eliminate the incompatibilities which would result from the provisions of art. 9 of the aforementioned ordinance. 14 December 2018 will be the last day that Ms. Dascalu will be a director of Societatea Energetice Electrica SA.
