("Urals Energy" or the "Company")
Resignation of Nominated Adviser and Broker
The Board of Urals Energy announces that Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc and Morgan Stanley Securities Limited have resigned from their respective roles as Nominated Adviser and Broker to the Company with effect from today, 13 July 2009.
The Company will provide an update on its plans to appoint a new Nominated Adviser and Broker and on its broader strategic plans in due course.
The Company's shares are currently suspended from trading following the passing of the 30 June 2009 deadline for the filing of annual accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008.
As previously announced, the company is working on a divestiture transaction with Sberbank and expects to issue its 2008 financial statements shortly.
