Resignation of Director

 

Utilitywise plc announces that, following the successful integration of the Energy Information Centre ("EIC") business acquired in July 2013, Mr Simon Butterfield has resigned from the Board of Directors with effect from the 6th March 2014 to pursue other interests.

Geoff Thompson, Chief Executive of Utilitywise, commented: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Simon for his contribution to the Company and wish him every success for the future. The acquisition of EIC created an energy procurement and consultancy business of real scale and we have been pleased with how seamlessly the integration has taken place."

Simon remains a substantial shareholder in Utilitywise.

As announced in its trading update of 5 February, Utilitywise will announce interim results on Tuesday 29th April.
