Resignation of director

The Board of Pure Wafer plc ("Pure Wafer" or "the Company"), one of the leading global providers of high quality silicon wafer reclaim services to many of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers and foundries as an integral part of their cost control programmes, announces that, following completion of the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Pure Wafer Inc., Jerry Winters, the Group's US director, has resigned from the Board.

The directors thank Jerry for his contribution and wish him well for the future under Pure Wafer Inc.'s new ownership.
