Sub: Resignation of Director

 

This has reference to our letter dated July 5, 2021, informing that Dr. Peter Blauwhoff(DIN: 07728872) has conveyed his intention to step down as Independent Director of the Company effective July 13, 2021.

 

Further to the said disclosure of July 5, 2021, we give below the details pursuant to Regulation 30 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 ('Listing Regulations') read with Clause 7B of Part A of Schedule III of the Listing Regulations.

 

1. Reason for Resignation: Dr. Blauwhoff has stated in his letter that he has decided to step down, since Tata Steel Limited has indicated that after the separation of TSN and TSUK, for which the consultation process with the Central Works Council started last week, it prefers direct Executive representation from Tata Steel in the Supervisory Board of TSN.

 

2. Confirmation from the Independent Director : Dr. Peter Blauwhoff has confirmed that there are no other material reasons other than those mentioned above, for his resignation as Independent Director of Tata Steel Limited. The confirmation received from Dr. Blauwhoff is enclosed herewith.
