Resignation of Director

Renewable Energy Holdings plc (AIM: REH) regrets to announce that Alan Burns has tendered his resignation as a Director of the Company, with effect from 30 September 2011, in order to allow him to concentrate on a full recovery from his recent illness.

Mike Proffitt, Chief Executive Officer, said:

"I will miss Alan's reliably relevant input at Board level and the insightfulness he brought to our discussions arising from his vast experience and knowledge of the natural sciences and I wish him a full and swift recovery."

Sir John Baker, Chairman, said:

"Alan was a very special contributor to the Board, not only as the inventor of the CETO Wave Energy Technology, one of our major assets, but also his humour and common sense approach, which made my responsibilities as Chairman easier to fulfill. I wish him and his family all the very best for the future."
