The Board of European Islamic Investment Bank PLC announces that John Weguelin has resigned as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, with effect from 21 August 2009. The Board would like to thank Mr Weguelin for the contribution he has made to the Company during its formative years, and wishes him every success for the future. Mr Weguelin has agreed to act as a Consultant to the Private Equity division of the Company for a period of six months to ensure a smooth transition.
