2 March 2015 Mwana Africa PLC ("Mwana" or the "Company") Requisition of General Meeting Mwana announces that it has received notices from Ian Dearing and othershareholders (the "Requisitioners") to convene a general meeting of theCompany's shareholders (the "Requisition") pursuant to section 303 of theCompanies Act 2006 (the "Act"). The Requisition proposes inter alia resolutionsto approve a number of non-executive director changes to the board of directorsof the Company. The Company is currently investigating the validity of the Requisition and tothe extent that it is valid and not withdrawn, currently intends, in accordancewith section 304 of the Act, to call such a meeting within 21 days of thereceipt of the Requisition and to provide for the general meeting to be held ona date not more than 28 days after the date of the notice of meeting. For the avoidance of doubt, neither China International Mining Group Limitednor Mr Yat Hoi Ning are Requisitioners. Shareholders are advised to take no action at this time.
