Requisition of General Meeting

DQ Entertainment plc, a global entertainment production and distribution company focused on children's and family animation content, announces that on 28 September 2015 the Company received a letter from Platinum Consulting Group, Anil Chintapalli and Corporate Computer Services (collectively the "Requisitioners") regarding a purported requisition for DQE to convene an extraordinary general meeting of the Company (the "General Meeting") to propose resolutions to appoint Anil Chintapalli and Suresh Chitturi as directors of the Company with immediate effect.

The Requisitioner's letter further informed the Company that the Requisitioners are the registered holders of a total of 29,133,662 ordinary shares of £0.001 par value each in the capital of the Company, which represents 51.78% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

DQE is currently seeking advice in relation to the validity of the purported requisition and the Company will make a further announcement in due course.
