Report on Progress of Tablet TV Freeview for the UK

London 30 May 2014: On 10 April 2014 the Company announced that testing of its technology for Tablet TV Freeview by the Digital Television Group would commence on 28 April 2014. At that time Motive was seeking to have testing and approval completed in order to have the product on the store shelves in time for the World Cup which starts in June 2014.

It now appears that the testing and de-bugging processes are taking longer than initially anticipated and it is unlikely that the final product will be available by the start of this event. Information on when and where the new product will be available will be released once the testing cycle has been completed.

The Motive app combined with iCube hardware will, once the hardware and software DTG tests have been completed, be the first and only of its kind to have been certified for Freeview viewing on Tablets. The app will allow the viewer to have a full Freeview experience including "red button" interactive capabilities plus additional state-of-the-art Motive features to watch and record all Freeview channels.
