Yamana Gold Inc.

Report on Payments to Governments for the twelve months ended 31 December 2021

This report sets out details of the payments made to governments by Yamana Gold Inc. (the "Company") for the year ended 31 December 2021 as required by the UK Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 4.3A (DTR 4.3A) and in accordance with The Reports on Payments to Governments Regulations 2014 (as amended in 2015). DTR 4.3A requires a company listed on the London Stock Exchange and operating in the extractive sector to prepare and publicly disclose a report on payments to governments in the form of taxes, bonuses, royalties, fees and infrastructure improvements.

The Company is also subject to equivalent Canadian legislation, the Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act ("ESTMA"). The Canadian requirements are aligned with the UK requirements except that the threshold for disclosure of a payment or series of related payments is lower than GBP86,000. Therefore the Company has disclosed payments in line with the ESTMA threshold of 100,000 Canadian dollars. The information is substantially a reproduction of the information set out in the Company's ESTMA - Annual Report for 2021, which is available on the Company's website.

Payments in this report have been disclosed in Canadian dollars, which is the Company's reporting currency for ESTMA. Where actual payments have been made in a local currency they have been converted using the average exchange rate for the year, as noted below.
