Regus Third Place - Partnership with Extra MSA Group to open Regus Business Centres in UK Motorway Service Areas

25 June 2012

Regus Third Place today announces a new partnership with Extra Motorway Service Area Group ('Extra' or 'Extra MSA Group'), the roadside service operator, that will bring Regus business centres to motorway service areas in the UK for the first time.

Under the agreement, Regus will initially open centres at three Extra Motorway Service Areas at busy locations: M40 J2 Beaconsfield, M25 Cobham and A14 / M11 Cambridge. All three are scheduled for September opening. Facilities will include business lounges and meeting rooms, printing, copying, secure business-class wifi and administrative support services.

Third Place is the new arm of Regus' business, which aims to expand working from just home or office locations into "third places" such as service stations, rail stations and a variety of other facilities. The idea is that these centres are complementary to our existing flexible working proposition and reinforce busy customers' reasons to use the Regus network and services.

The partnership with Extra follows similar deals with Shell to trial business lounges in service stations across Europe, as well as with railway operators SNCF and NS to open business centres at French and Dutch rail stations.

Mark Dixon, CEO of Regus, said:

"This is another logical step in the global trend towards flexible working. Like our other partnerships with Shell, SNCF and NS Trains, this agreement between Regus and Extra MSA Group will create even more opportunities for Regus customers to work remotely.

While Third Place remains early in its development, it is an exciting investment opportunity for us. We continue to examine new locations, work with potential customers and trial concepts. We will only invest where we see returns consistent or above those elsewhere in our existing businesses."
