Regus opens in Nepal – now operating in 100 countries

24th Jun 2013 12:00

Regus, the world's largest provider of flexible workspaces, has launched its first business centre in Nepal. This represents a significant milestone for Regus as it brings the company’s global network to 100 countries. It allows both local and international businesses to expand their presence in one of Asia’s emerging economies without upfront capital investment or long-term risk by using Regus’ flexible workspaces.

The new Regus centre is in Kathmandu, the country's industrial and commercial hub. Nepal has good economic relationships with neighbouring China and India, as well as with the US and the EU and it has seen steady rises in GDP, of around 4% annually this decade.1

Mark Dixon, Chief Executive of Regus plc said: "The expansion of the Regus network to 100 countries is another milestone as we execute on our growth strategy. In every market we are in, we are making it more feasible and affordable for businesses to achieve their own growth and export ambitions. By 2014 our network should reach more than 2,000 business centres globally.

Nepal is an excellent choice for our 100th country. It is a young and growing economy, in a flourishing region. Many people and businesses will benefit from our services and we look forward to working with them to help create growth and employment in this important emerging market."
