Regulatory Announcement for Oslo Stock Exchange

Avocet Mining PLC has entered into a market making agreement with Arctic Securities ASA for the Company`s shares listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange ("OSE"), with the purpose of increasing the liquidity of the Company's shares on that market.

The market making agreement, which is in accordance with the requirements of the OSE, will be effective as of today - 16 August 2010.
