Change of Registered Office & Company Secretary and
Resignation of Director
GEM BioFuels Plc (AIM: GBF), the emerging feedstock supplier to the global biodiesel industry, today announces changes to its Registered Office and Company Secretary and the Resignation of one of its Directors.
Following a review of the Company's current mode of corporate operations the Company has decided to change its Financial Services Provider in the Isle of Man ("FSP"). As a consequence of this change the Company wishes to announce the following changes with immediate effect:
Change of Registered Office
The Company's Registered Office details will now be as follows:
33-37 Athol Street
Douglas
Isle of Man IM1 1LB
Change of Company Secretary
James Cunningham-Davis has resigned as Company Secretary and will be replaced by Nigel Tebay.
Resignation of Director
Pritesh Desai, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, will step down from the Board immediately. Pritesh, whose services were provided by GEM's previous FSP, has acted as the Company's Isle of Man representative since its inception; however, due to a change in regulatory requirements, he will not be replaced.
Simon Hunt will continue as Non-Executive Chairman and Malcolm Williams will continue in his role as Non-Executive Director of GEM BioFuels Plc.
Commenting on the announcement Paul Benetti, CEO of GEM Biofuels, said: "Pritesh Desai and James Cunningham-Davis have been involved with the Company since its inception and have made significant contributions to the operation of the business, particularly with respect to its Isle of Mann domicile. We would like to thank them both for their efforts."
