Regarding the News and Rumours on Isbank

In the news that were published in the media on 17.03.2016, it has been stated that an indictment has been prepared against POAŞ board members that served between 2001 and 2007, a period which includes the 2001-2005 period when our Bank was a shareholder in POAŞ, as well as some senior managers, regarding some of the fuel import transactions of POAŞ and a lawsuit is demanded. In the said news, names of our Chairman of the Board and some senior managers who served in POAŞ as board members have been mentioned as well.

There has been no official notification that was received by our Bank regarding the subject so far. The activities of POAŞ, which was a publicly traded company in the relevant period as well, have been subject to audit of public institutions. We would like to share with the public that the allegations against our Bank's Chairman of the Board and managers mentioned in the news have no legal grounds and do not reflect the truth, therefore, our Bank will take every legal action to protect the legal rights of our Bank and our managers.
