RECORD WINS FOR ARMOUR GROUP AT WHAT HI-FI AWARDS

Consumer electronics leader Armour Group racked up a record-breaking six wins in the prestigious What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision Awards 2013 ceremony held on October 10 at the Dorchester Hotel. Its Q Acoustics speaker brand amassed five awards, including Product of the Year for its Concept 20 speakers. This is believed to be the highest number of awards ever won by a speaker brand at this ceremony.

 The sixth Award went to a pair of Grado SR80 headphones, distributed in the UK by the Group's Home division.

Says Armour Group CEO George Dexter: 'We are naturally very pleased to have won this number of awards - the highest for any company on the night. The What Hi-Fi Awards are recognised as being among the most prestigious in the world. As well as the kudos of proving to be the best, success adds considerable financial benefits with sales of winning products usually rising between 10 and 15% pa.'
