Record Time re Proposed Return of Value to Shareholders

Further to the Company's announcement this morning of the proposed return of value to shareholders of 45 pence per share via a B/C share scheme, Micro Focus confirms that the Record Time for its share capital consolidation and entitlement to B Shares and/or C Shares under the proposed return of value will be 6.00pm on 11 January 2012.
