Record Date for the 9 Months 2011 Dividend Payment

07.11.2011, Moscow. OAO Severstal, one of the world's leading vertically integrated steel and steel related mining companies, announces that following the Board's decision to call an EGM on 30 December 2011 to vote on the dividend payment for the first nine months of 2011 and approve the revised OAO Severstal Charter, the record date for the dividend payment for the first nine months of 2011 is 15 November 2011.

The Board will provide its recommendation for the dividend payment for the first nine months of 2011 in the coming weeks.
