Record date for bonus issue of shares

Sub.: Issuance of bonus shares - Record date

This is in continuation to our letter of even no. dated February 1, 2017.

GAIL Board in its meeting held on 25.01.2017 recommended issuance of 1 (One) bonus share of Rs. 10/- each for existing 3 (three) equity shares of Rs. 10/- each fully paid up, subject to the shareholders approval and the same was intimated to stock exchange(s) on 25.01.2017.

This is to further inform that for the purpose of allotment of bonus shares 'RECORD DATE' will be Saturday, the 11th March, 2017, if issuance of bonus shares is approved by the shareholders through postal ballot process and results of Postal Ballot will be announced on Monday, 6th March, 2017.
