SUB.: RE-CLASSIFICATION TO "PUBLIC" CATEGORY FROM "PROMOTER" CATEGORY.

REF: REGULATION 30 AND 31A OF THE SEBI (LISTING OBLIGATIONS AND DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS) REGULATIONS, 2015 ("LISTING REGULATIONS").

This is in continuation to our letter no AXIS/CO/CS/207/2021-22 dated August 5, 2021 in respect of the submission of applications to BSE Limited ("BSE") and National Stock Exchange of India Limited ("NSE") for reclassification of United India Insurance Company Limited, National Insurance Company Limited, The New India Assurance Company Limited and General Insurance Corporation of India to "Public" category from "Promoter" category.

In this regard, we wish to inform you that BSE and NSE vide their respective letters dated November 30, 2021 have granted their approval for the reclassification of aforementioned promoters to "Public" category from "Promoter" category.

You are requested to take the above on record and bring this to the notice of all concerned.
