REC SILICON ASA - NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR SHAREHOLDING

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement made by REC Silicon ASA (the "Company") on 8 April 2026 regarding the final results of the rights issue of 4,078,000,000 new shares in the Company that was fully underwritten by Anchor AS (the "Rights Issue").

Anchor has received allocation of 3,927,769,144 new shares based on a combination of subscriptions and underwriting in accordance with the underwriting agreement for the Rights Issue, which will be subscribed at the subscription price of NOK 0.2385 per share. Following completion of the Rights Issue, Anchor AS will hold 4,181,883,500 shares, representing approximately 92.96% of the issued shares and votes in the Company (prior to the issuance of the commission shares to Anchor pursuant to the underwriting agreement), thus passing the 2/3 and 90% notification thresholds pursuant to section 4-2 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act. After delivery of the 113,000,457 commission shares the total holding of Anchor AS will be 4,294,883,957 shares, representing approximately 93.13% of the issued shares and votes in the Company after issuance of the commission shares.
