Anglo American PLC23 February 2006 Press Release ANGLO AMERICAN plc Recommended Final (including Special) Dividend ofUS$0.95 per ordinary share - Dividend no 14 Amount per ordinary share in South African Rand Further to the announcements of 10 and 22 February 2006, the equivalent of thedividend in South African Rand is R5.7892 per ordinary share based on anexchange rate of US$1 = R6.0939. The equivalent of the dividend in Sterling and Euros will be determined andannounced on Monday 13 March 2006. Payment of the dividend is scheduled for Wednesday 3 May 2006, subject toshareholders' approval at the AGM on 25 April 2006.
