Galliford Try PLC21 June 2007 GALLIFORD TRY APPOINTED TO £50 MILLION ANGLIAN WATER PROJECT Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, is pleased toannounce that, in joint venture with Imtech Process, it has been appointed byAnglian Water as preferred bidder for the Wing Water Treatment Works inNorthamptonshire. The project, which will cost around £50 million and is Anglian Water's largestsingle capital project in its current asset management programme AMP4, comprisesthe design, construction and commisioning of a standalone extension to theexisting Water Treatment Works. Once completed, it will represent a 30% increasein throughput and serve people in the Peterborough, Corby, Northampton andKettering areas. The project also involves the construction of two major pumpingstations. Mott McDonald is Project Engineer and Earthtech is the specialistprocess design sub-contractor. Work will commence in January 2008 and is expected to complete in December 2009.
