Bank of Ireland(Governor&Co)16 March 2007 16 March 2007 BANK OF IRELAND RE-ISSUE FROM TREASURY STOCK; SHARESAVE SCHEME (SAYE) Arising from the maturity of the SAYE 2003 Scheme, Bank of Ireland announcesthat it has today re-issued from Treasury Stock 3,476,833 units of OrdinaryStock of nominal value of €0.64 each (Ordinary Stock). The re-issue comprised of2,824,843 units of Ordinary Stock at • 7.84 per unit in respect of IrishEmployees and 651,990 units of Ordinary Stock at • 8.37 per unit in respect ofUK Employees. Following the re-issue, Bank of Ireland holds 43,171,919 units of Ordinary Stockas Treasury Stock. The number of units of Ordinary Stock in issue is now982,251,708 excluding Treasury Stock.
