WellingtonManagement's interest in the shares is as an investment manager, as is mentionedin Sections 67(1) and 77(4)(B) of the Companies Act 1990(the "Act"). TheAccounts do not act as a group nor do they act in concert with respect to theinterests in shares. Wellington Management acquired the interests in shares forthe Accounts in its capacity as discretionary investment manager to, and solelyfor the benefit of, the Accounts, and the interests were acquired solely forinvestment purposes. The shares are registered in the name of the Accounts orthe Accounts' custodians or nominees according to their respective holdings. 2 Wellington Management as discretionary investment manager on behalf of various separate accounts, has purchased, in the aggregate, 1,392,892 ordinary sharesand 13,069,187 ADR shares. On a converted basis, this represents the equivalentof 66,738,827 ordinary shares, or 8.85% of the shares outstanding, of theCompany. This is a decrease of 0.31% since our notification on 31 January 2005.Therefore, Wellington Management hereby gives notice to the Company of suchinterest in shares, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 67(1) and 77(4)(B) ofthe Act.
